Daybreak Express (1953)
Directed by D. A.
Pennebaker this is a short film set to the music of Duke Ellington.
We explore the early morning commute in New York.
There is not a huge
amount to this film but the camera work is really nice. The images
capture the city in the early morning and has some nice cityscapes .
I found this to be an entertaining little documentary that is not
really that experimental.
3/5
