The Secret Life of
Walter Mitty (2013)

Stiller this film based on the short story of the same name also
features Kristen Wiig, Shirley MacLaine and Sean Penn. A fantasist
that works in the negative lab for Life magazine has to go on an
adventure to find a missing negative.
Much like the previous
adaptation this film departs heavily from it's source material and
has little in common with the earlier adaptation either. While this
version is enjoyable and has some charm of it's own I think it lost a
little of depth of exploring the role fantasies play in our lives.
The film looks really great and captures some of the more interest
landscapes really well but never really becomes more than average.
