Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

this animated film includes the voice talents of John C. Reilly,
Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch. The bad guy from an
arcade video game seems to earn respect and friendship from the other
characters in his game.
There is a slight hint
of Toy Story (1995) in the set up of this story but thankfully the
plot goes it's own way and is a nice little gem in it's own right.
The story has a decent heart to it and I really enjoyed the numerous
references to classic video games that litter the film. While there
may be a lot of product placement in this film it does do a great job
of fitting it in fairly seamlessly and the animation is spot on for
the worlds that are depicted.
